PLASTMASS™
PU PLASTIC

PLASTMASS™ PU is a Polyurethane elastomer with a Shore A hardness of 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85 and 90.

PLASTMASS™ PU finished parts and semi-finished products are resistant to sudden atmospheric changes and falling temperatures. In addition, they have a long lifespan in commercial operations. Our polyurethane is used to minimize abrasion, shock and sticking material. It replaces rubber, steel and various plastic parts in various applications. Our plastics are manufactured under high quality standards in our factory in Russia. Buy PU plastic (Polyurethane) by contacting us.

APPLICATION OF PU

Our polyurethane sheets are used to line different surfaces: bunkers, silos, drainage channels, tanks, slides, transport areas for dump trucks, excavator shovels, shovels for bulldozers, wagons.

The PLASTMASS™ PU rods are used for the production of guiding devices and covers for drive and pressure rollers. Our rods have a lifespan up to 20 times longer than normal rubber material. Thick-walled polyurethane pipes are ideal for press-fit covers for metal rollers. In addition, our material is often made for flaps, bushings, seals and rings.

ADVANTAGES OF PU

General advantages of PLASTMASS™ PU (polyurethane) compared to steel, rubber or polyethylene lining products

  • The particularly high resistance of our PLASTMASS™ PU plastic to impact loads increases the lifespan of linings

  • By using PLASTMASS ™ PU instead of metal, you are guaranteed to extend the life of the devices four times or more

  • Thanks to its very low coefficient of friction, our polyurethane prevents material from sticking to surfaces - it also makes laborious cleaning of work surfaces obsolete

  • The material is dust-free and easy to process

  • Noise reduction in work areas

  • Reduces repair work and frequent replacement of the lining material - thus saving a lot of time and costs

Explicit advantages of polyurethane PLASTMASS™ PU over rubber

  • 2 times higher elasticity

  • 3 times higher wear resistance

  • 2.5 times stronger then rubber

  • High resistance to multiple strains

  • Works under high pressure (up to 105 MPa)

  • Chemical resistance to many solvents and acids

  • Increased hardness (up to 95 units of Shore A)

  • Temperature range of work from -50 °C to +80 °C

  • Resistance to microorganisms and mold

  • Vibration and oil-benzine-resistance

  • Elasticity at low temperatures

  • High dielectric properties
