PLASTMASS™
PTFE PLASTIC
Our PLASTMASS™ PTFE (Polytetrafluorethylen) plastic is very resistant to weather influences and chemicals. This fluoropolymer has low friction and is stable at higher temperatures. PTFE plastics are in general softer than other plastic materials. To improve the mechanical strength of this material it can be reinforced with glass fibre or carbon fibre. Our PTFE plastic is resistant to electricity and has excellent insulating properties. The low friction surface of PTFE makes it to an ideal material for machine parts.
