PLASTMASS™ PET EL 55/63 SPECIAL FEATURES

PLASTMASS™ PET EL 55 and 63 are novel thermoplastic elastomers based on polyester. Our PET EL thermoplastics do not require vulcanization to achieve optimal properties. They have been developed for use in the rubber and plastics industry and help to increase the wear resistance of the treated elastomer. The material has an average hardness in the range of 55 to 63 according to the Shore scale (D), which achieves an ideal balance between chemical resistance and mechanical properties. The plastics are characterized by their high elasticity, impact resistance, abrasion resistance, tensile strength and burst strength in a wide temperature range. The mechanical properties of our PET EL remain unchanged at a low temperature. It is very resistant to interactions with conventional chemicals. You can find detailed comparison tables for the properties of PLASTMASS™ plastics in our catalog. Please contact our account manager for an inquiry.
