PLASTMASS™ PEEK MODIFICATIONS FORMS OF SUPPLY
PLASTMASS™ PEEK GF30 - GLASS FIBRE CHARACTERISTICS
PLASTMASS™ PEEK GF30 modification is a 30% glass fiber reinforced thermoplastic material based on Polyetheretherketone. Our modified plastic material is characterized by a higher mechanical strength, hardness and creep resistance than regular peek. Glass fibre reinforced PLASTMASS™ PEEK GF30 plastic is ideal for conditions, which require to withstand long-term static loads at high temperatures.
High operation temperature up to +250°C (up to +310°C at short-term operation)

You are able to manufacture various machine parts from PLASTMASS™ PEEK GF30 plastics: rollers, gears, worm wheels, parts of pumps, seals of valve balls, high temperature insulators, supporting disks, rings, pads, bearings of hydraulic turbines and hydro-generators. PLASTMASS ™ PEEK GF30 is highly efficient and reliable in applications where fluoropolymers often fail. It is advantageous to replace metal parts (bronze, special steel, cast iron) with our PEEK GF30 plastic. Our plastic has the best durability and is not affected by linear expansion. At the same time, it is resistant to vibrations and shock loads. Due to its high strength, the glass fiber is called "light metal", but has a lower density and thermal conductivity than metal. The main advantage of our material is its corrosion resistance in damp and wet environments. Thanks to its low specific weight, PLASTMASS ™ PEEK GF30 is ideal for vehicle construction and saves weight. The use of our material also extends the life of individual parts. The high strength and durability of fiberglass also play a particularly important role in the safety aspect of components. However, this material is not suitable as a sliding part, since glass fiber can damage the surface of the counter body.
