PLASTIC TRUCK LININGS

Our lining solutions and materials protect and improve surfaces. Learn everything about our sustainable and protective lining solutions for vehicle and transport surfaces. The first-class linings protect any surface against mechanical, physical, thermal and chemical influences. This also means that the linings prevent goods from sticking and freezing to transport surfaces. At the same time, our linings protect the surfaces of hoppers, wagons, conveyor belts and loading areas from the wear and tear that occurs when bulk goods are transported. By using our linings, the loading capacity of vehicles can be increased and additional operating and repair costs can be reduced.

Truck Lining PE 500 (HMWPE)  & PE 1000 (UHMWPE)

The linings made of high and ultra high molecular weight Polyethylene have a wide range of technical advantages:

  • Resistant to aggressive chemical environment, except the effects of nitric acid

  • High wear resistance

  • Excellent deformation characteristics, stable to size and shape changing

  • No water absorption - no resizing in a wet environment

  • UV and microorganisms resistant

  • No taste and smell

  • Sliding properties prevents the sticking of wet products

  • Mechanically strong and tough

  • Low weight

  • No high processing costs

  • Dielectric properties

  • Radiation resistance

Truck Lining with Polyurethane (PU)

Polyurethane elastomer linings have following advantages (Shore-A hardness 70-90):

  • Increased elasticity

  • High wear resistance

  • Resistant to deformation

  • Chemical resistance

  • Dielectric properties

  • Vibration resistance

  • High compressive strength without loss of operating properties

  • Consistent properties even at low temperatures

Lining of Backhoe Buckets

The metal surfaces of backhoe buckets suffer from corrosion, particularly during excavation work in which the buckets come into contact with hard rock and moisture. Our linings protect the paint layer and the metal from rock and abrasive particles.

This means that excavator buckets no longer have to be exchanged, which in turn saves costs. In addition, the bulk goods can be dumped more easily, which saves time in operational processes.

Linings for Dump Truck Surfaces

Moist loads such as sand, clay, coal, granular chemicals that are transported by dump trucks can adhere or freeze to the transport surface. This often means that moist bulk goods cannot be fully unloaded, which reduces the load capacity of the dump truck, increases the unloading time and increases fuel consumption. All of this leads to an increase in operating costs and a reduction in the operational efficiency of dump trucks.

Our PLASTMASS™ UHMWPE & HMWPE liners for dump trucks make it possible to solve known problems and increase operational efficiency.

Lining of Hoppers & Waggons

In mining and processing plants, railway wagons are tipped sideways to unload the copper ore and coal into the receiving funnel. The main operational problem arises that the walls of the funnels wear out quickly due to the impacting bulk material. This leads to frequent repairs and plant stops. PLASTMASS™ UHMWPE & HMWPE linings protect the funnel walls from impacting bulk materials, which increases the life of the walls enormously. In addition, our material dampens the impact noise and lowers the noise level.
