APPLICATION

  • PET

    Made for wear resistant sliding bearings bushings, bushings, linear guides, lead screws, rollers, gear wheels.

  • PSU

    Made for translucent spare parts, which are operating under conditions of intense mechanical, thermal and electrical stress.

  • PEEK

    Made for the production of sliding parts, which are used at high temperatures in combination with high surface pressure up to 15 MPa.

  • PEI

    Made for sliding bearings running at higher temperatures, speeds and loads than the material PET.

  • PPS

    Made for sliding parts. This material is the best solution for parts which are operating in chemical aggressive environments.

  • PTFE

    Made for application under low static friction in combination with oil and temperature up to 70 °C.

  • PI

    Ideal for sliding speed over 200m/min and temperature of more than 100 °C. Made for high loads and extreme working conditions.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • PET

    High wear resistance and low coefficient of friction. No lubrication during usage required. Resistance to a wide range of chemicals with a ph-value from 1 to 9.

  • PSU

    High strength, dimensional stability, chemical resistance. High resistance to X-ray and infrared radiation. 

  • PEEK

    High tensile strength and fatigue. Suitable for welding, gluing. Works under vacuum. Higher wear resistance and pv-value than regular PEEK.

  • PEI

    Dry running, corrosion resistance, fire resistant, dimensional stability. Better wear resistance and pv-value than PEEK.

  • PPS

    High chemical resistance.  Substitutes fluoropolymers and ceramics with its better sliding properties.

  • PTFE

    Is resistant to hydrolysis and does not absorb moisture. High heat and cold resistance. Operates at temperatures from -250 °C to +250 °C.

  • PI

    Highest pv-performance of all PLASTMASS™ plastics. High endurance limit. Resistant against combustion and works under vacuum.

The Plastmass Group manufactures wear-resistant PLASTMASS™ plastics in Russia, which are high-quality thermoplastics. For many years, our high-performance plastics have been successfully used in many industries to solve various problems in the field of sliding friction. Our plastics replace traditional materials such as bronze, polyamide (Caprolon), fluorocarbon polymers, textolite, sintered powder, ZAMAK and cast iron metal-fluoroplastic adhesive tape. This eliminates the shortcomings and problems associated with these materials.
