For the electronics industry, Plastmass Group produces more than 30 brands of materials ZEDEX, which are divided into series: ZX-100, ZX-324, ZX-410, ZX-530, ZX-750 and their modifications.

The ZEDEX blanks are machined to produce various parts of sliding friction units, which are actively used in automatic assembly lines for electronic devices and in antistatic pads when installing electronic circuits of mobile phones and other types of gadgets.

Usage of polymers during the production

In the process of producing electronic products, the equipment works almost continuously, and therefore parts wear out quickly, static electricity accumulates and the cost of its maintenance increases. Replacing the anti-friction parts ZEDEX-324 allows you to increase the service life of the equipment, reduce the level of static electricity and reduce costs, as our developments increase the wear resistance and antistatic properties of the parts without the use of constant lubrication or special additives.

During the operation of electronic products, in many cases protection of external surfaces or provision of certain temperature conditions of operation is required. In this case, casting with PEEK and an insert from an electronic component allows solving customer problems. In some cases, the task is easily solved by replacing the casting with an insert by manufacturing parts from our PEEK using 3D printing.

Usage of polymers in parts

Parts made from polymers of our production will increase the reliability and service life of electronic devices, since in addition to the above properties, they do not emit harmful compounds when external and internal effects on the device, and also have no taste or smell, which is an important factor for consumers when choosing a product.

The use of materials and composites of our production from PEEK is most in demand in the field of production of sensors operating at high temperatures and in aggressive environments. An important innovation is the possibility of floating contact between the induction coil and the conductor during injection molding in the form, which is realized by modifying the viscosity of pure PEEK.

Parts from polymers of our production allow to produce printed circuit boards of any shape and size for mounting electronic circuits. In situations with critical weight parameters materials from PEEK can significantly reduce the weight of the product by almost 70%.
